Come up with a program to improve employee engagement that would ultimately lead to improved levels of care for our clients by transforming our workforce and identify an outstanding individual worthy of the title, Employee of the Year, winning a substantial prize. Our main aim was not the prize, but rather the transformation of the workforce. No other company had done what we were trying to do, yet CPL presented a concept within a week.

Our company values would form the basis of the program with staff nominating each other for actively living a value. A program was developed with input from management as well as staff. Workshops were arranged for all and CPL’s commitment to make the program work was evident right from the start. All requests for assistance was always accommodated. CPL even presented workshops over weekends and during evenings.

Change management has become the new buzz word in business. Many companies profess to be agents of change management but are merely proponents of a one size fits all approach.
