Helping brands understand their customers’ response to engagement and facilitates sustainable competitive advantages through these insights.
I’m passionate about consumer behavior, and particularly interested in the role of emotion and the subconscious in buying behavior.

Understanding consumer behaviour is the cornerstone to understanding one’s Consumer Experience. Working at CPL has allowed me to view consumer behaviour in a holistic manner in order to understand what drives consumers and what they need and expect, ultimately to create a lasting impression. CPL allows me to think outside the box and to ask the ‘difficult questions’ and this is what makes my work enjoyable!

I believe that these disciplines can work together to help individuals and communities thrive. I am always intrigued by humans, how we do what we do and why we do what we do. We are intricate, complex and fascinating beings and I am always open to learning and knowing more and hopefully providing a space that allows people to just fully be themselves.

After spending the largest part of my career in corporate private healthcare in various positions and projects, I bravely stepped out to start my own small business in retail and beverage production. The culmination of knowledge and experience led to a stint as an independent business consultant and joining the CPL Team. I love being part of a diverse professional team of customer experience researchers and practitioners with more than a decade’s expertise and perfectly positioned to help any organisation become or remain successful in this very fast and ever-changing world of commerce. The nature of the business and team speaks to every one of my passions!

It makes such a difference to spend the day creating space for people, for the topics that often simmer under the surface. Service delivery speaks to the moral fabric and culture of a society, and I feel quite strongly that it should be a treasured space that gets a lot of attention. So often, it is what creates tension or joy in ways that affect all our interactions for the day. I also enjoy the freedom of working from home and in a peaceful environment, and there is not enough to be said about being part of a supportive team.
My passion is stories, and the way they reflect how the mind works. There is a story in everything, and every detail of every story is the result of a string of experiences that come together in a moment. I enjoy this passion through editing, writing, teaching, researching, listening to and engaging in general conversation, quiet times, and any exploration or adventure. It is a privilege to already have been part of so many industries where stories are at the heart of the role.
